Business.tas.gov.au is an online Tasmanian government resource for all small Tasmanian businesses.
Small businesses are the engine room of the Tasmanian economy. There are over 36 000 small businesses in the state contributing to our economic growth by providing essential products and services. Importantly, business owners create employment and support for their local communities.
Business.tas.gov.au is specifically designed to help small businesses flourish. Whether you are in the planning stage, starting up or already established, you can quickly access all the information and services you need to help your business grow. We constantly update our content to keep it relevant and we write in plain English so as many people as possible can understand it.
Business.tas.gov.au is part of the Business Tasmania service. You can call or email us with any business related queries, talk to us about our programs for small business or tell us what you’d like to see on the website. Your comments and feedback is important and we do listen.
After all, it is your website.
Here’s a shot of the Business Tasmania team so you can put a face to the name.
Left to right: Daniela, Kelly and Rosemary.
We all do a bit of everything but we do have our favourite bits.
Daniela is the organiser, determined to keep the website up-to-date. She has checklists and spreadsheets and keeps us all on our toes. She also has a young family and reckons coming to work is restful.
Kelly likes getting out and meeting people. She represents us brilliantly at business events and expos whenever she can.
Rosemary loves a chat, the chances are she’ll answer the phone when you call. When she’s not talking she’s writing emails. It’s all about words for her.
Business Tasmania – all your business needs in one place.
